This new musical by Brendan Milburn, Valerie Vigoda, and Duane Poole is based on the Hawthorne story, "Rappaccini’s Daughter". Los Angeles Ovation Award Nominees are announced. Laura and the cast of 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE are nominated for Best Acting Ensemble, and Parade is nominated for Best Production of a Musical.

Laura returns to Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this spring. She will be tackling the role of Cunegonde in CANDIDE which begins performances on May 25th.

Laura spent the winter at La Mirada Theatre playing Miss Peretti in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. The production was directed by Jeff Maynard with choreography by DJ Gray.

Laura was a part of the new production of PARADE at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. She was thrilled to be performing in her hometown and working with the brilliant Jason Robert Brown, Alfred Uhry, Thomas Murray, and Rob Ashford.

Laura headed to Music Theatre of Wichita to play Guenevere in their production of CAMELOT. The production was directed by Music Theatre of Wichita’s artistic director, Wayne Bryan with choreography by Amy Baker.

Laura returned to SOUTH PACIFIC for several weeks to play Dinah Murphy while Laura Marie Duncan recovered from an ankle injury. It doesn't get any better than Lincoln Center and her family there, and she is happy she could help out.

Laura will be starring in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. She will play the role of Milly in the production which opens December 3rd.

Laura took part in a reading of a new Sondheim project for James Lapine. She joined Leslie Kritzer, Capathia Jenkins, Liz Callaway, Aaron Lazar, Michael Arden, Shuler Hensley, and Michael McElroy to sing through a variety of Sondheim music. Her roles included Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS, Anne in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, and Dot in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE along with new arrangements of lesser known

Before starting rehearsals at Lincoln Center, Laura traveled to Russia with SOUTH PACIFIC colleagues Ted Sperling and Laura Marie Duncan where they performed a series of concerts in St. Petersburg. They sang music from WEST SIDE STORY, CANDIDE, THE WILD PARTY and more in a tribute to Russian composer Andrei Petrov. Highlights included a shared version of "Glitter and Be Gay" with Russian soprano Olga Pudova from the Marinsky Opera and choral numbers which included a chorus of young Russian singers learning American musical theatre as part of a cultural exchange program.
